About this site
I’m an English language teacher, online tutor and author. I teach online at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and on the MATESOL program of the New School in New York. I was born in London but I live in Barcelona, Spain.
I have co-written an adult coursebook series for students ‘Framework’ / ‘New Framework’ and a methodology handbook for English teachers called ‘Working with Images’. I travel widely, talking to teachers about my work and listening to their needs and interests. My main area of interest at the moment lies in images and their role in language teaching. Other ELT issues that concern me: English in the World, encouraging intercultural awareness and using literary texts.
