I’m an English language teacher, online tutor and author. I teach online at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and on the MATESOL program of the New School in New York. I was born in London but I live in Barcelona, Spain. I have co-written an adult coursebook series for students ‘Framework’ and a methodology handbook for English teachers called ‘Working with Images’. I travel widely, talking to teachers about my work and listening to their needs and interests. My main area of interest at the moment lies in images and their role in language teaching. I’m also fascinated about the relationship between image and text. Other ELT issues that I am concerned with: English in the World, encouraging intercultural awareness and using literary texts. For this reason, I have started this website and blog to upload some ideas and share them with you.
